Ride

I put in some miles this week. It’s been hot so rather than big rides, I averaged 25-30 miles over multiple rides. It started last weekend riding to New Glarus Friday and Saturday. Out and back rides aren’t my favorite, but they did give some miles on dirt. This weeks rides were mostly paved paths and roads.

Todays Chill ride was my favorite to date. We met out in Waunakee and rolled through the farm roads to Windsor and DeForest. The roads were quiet and peaceful throughout. Some hills near the end were tough, but nothing like past rides. With about 10 miles left, I was leading a small group, but riding solo so I put on Mapache and rolled to the end.

Riding in Madison is easy. I hope to continue my streak of getting out as often as possible.

These photos were all taken with the Camp Snap-Pro. A camera I had forgotten about, but now realize is perfect to ride with. It’s lightweight and easy to handle.
