Opening Day: Bangers vs. Farleys
The Milwaukee Bangers came to town to take on the Mad City Farleys. Seven innings or dark would determine a winner. The coolers were stocked with water and beer. The bleachers and baselines were packed with fans. With a cloudless sky, the sun soaked the field and by nights end would blind most of the fielders.
The Bangers took an early lead in the 2nd, but the Farleys answered in the bottom half. By the 4th, the Farleys were down a run. The Farleys came out swinging and scored 5, taking a 5-2 lead. It didn’t last long. The Bangers scored 5 in the top of the 5th, but the Farleys came roaring back, and never looked back. Their closer came in and shutdown the Bangers with a one, two, three 7th to give them the win.
Farleys win 10-7!
